gasp an update
ino' suni ^^
2 years later i am re-examining this project.
changes:
- went through the code and legend and organised a bunch of stuff
- re-drew all the key fragments to make them more visually distinct
- edited a bunch of levels to make them less agonizing to play through. removed a ton of unnecessary boxes and compressed a lot of the bulkier stages.
- made a couple of new dungeon lock levels
- added some sound effects
bugs:
i did not fix any of those haha
i don't know if i can promise to keep developing this game. i am not a sokoban expert and i don't know how to make really intricate pushing puzzles- most of the current levels are more about moving fragments between individual gates and finding the right order to do things, and less about precise movements in cramped conditions. the former is fine but i would like to get better at the latter. i will give puzzle design another try this week tho and see what i can come up with. aiming for four levels, maybe five :)
i honestly don't remember what i had planned for days 3 and 4- i think "having to relight extinguished forges," "darkness," and "controlling multiple keys at once" were being thrown around, but none of those sound particularly fun to present pteren. if i can come up with a cool mechanic i might implement it and try to produce another set of levels, but otherwise the game will probably be pretty short.
